Experimental Platform

Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Experimental Nature of the Platform

Capsul is an experimental, early-access platform. It is provided as-is, without any guarantees of uptime, stability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice.

By using Capsul you acknowledge that you are using experimental software and accept all risks associated with doing so.

2. AI-Generated Content

Capsul uses large language models (LLMs) via third-party providers such as Groq and OpenRouter to generate application code and content. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated output may be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for your intended use.
  • AI can and does make mistakes, including logical errors, security vulnerabilities, and factual inaccuracies.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any AI-generated code or content before using it in any context.
  • Capsul makes no warranty that generated apps are secure, bug-free, or production-ready.
  • AI outputs should not be relied upon without independent verification by a qualified professional.

3. No Liability for Data Loss

Capsul stores app data in SQLite databases on a best-effort basis. We explicitly disclaim all liability for any data loss, corruption, or unavailability, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of apps, generated code, or stored database records.
  • Accidental overwriting of app history or versions.
  • Data loss due to server failures, infrastructure changes, or platform shutdowns.
  • Corruption caused by AI-generated database operations.

You are responsible for exporting and maintaining your own backups of any apps or data you wish to preserve. Use the export/download feature regularly.

4. No Verification of Output

Capsul does not verify, audit, or validate the correctness, legality, safety, or appropriateness of any AI-generated application. We are not responsible for:

  • Security vulnerabilities in generated code.
  • Incorrect business logic or calculations.
  • Content that may infringe third-party intellectual property.
  • Applications used in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal, etc.) without appropriate professional review.

5. Third-Party AI Providers

You bring your own API keys for Groq and/or OpenRouter. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service. Capsul has no responsibility for the availability, accuracy, or behaviour of third-party AI models.

Your API keys are stored encrypted. However, you should treat them as sensitive credentials and rotate them if you suspect any compromise.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Capsul to build or deploy applications that:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe upon the rights of any third party.
  • Spread misinformation, harassment, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to abuse, exploit, or reverse-engineer the platform.

7. Service Availability

We make no guarantees about uptime or availability. As an experimental platform, Capsul may experience downtime, data migrations, or be discontinued at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes, but this is not guaranteed.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capsul and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Capsul after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
